A Big Data-Based Commuting Carbon Emissions Accounting Method—A Case of Hangzhou

چکیده
Commuting carbon emissions are an essential component of urban emissions, and determining how to reduce them is area great debate among researchers. The current research lacks a tool instrument that can extensively account for residents’ commuting. Traditional methods mainly based on questionnaire surveys, which have low accuracy at spatial temporal aspects. High emission accounting effectively assist planning achieve precise reductions. This study applies taxi commuting method divided into two main steps. Firstly, the trajectories calculated using trajectory data calculation developed VSP. Secondly, POI used filter commuter with help two-step moving search method. In this way, were obtained. Then, distribution characteristics residential analysed by autocorrelation tools, could facilitate zoning management. A typical working day in Hangzhou was selected as object study. results show (1) morning peak reached 2065.14 kg per hour, 13.73% all travel emissions; evening 732.2 4% (2) At grid level, shows single central decays directions; (3) resident community scale public transport facilities influence emissions. areas such urban-rural border, high levels aggregation, area, aggregation. not only provides new investigation but also offers constructive suggestions future reduction under Hangzhou’s planning.

Accounting for Carbon Dioxide Emissions
It is an adage of accounting to monitor what you can measure but there is concern that some elements can potentially be very important yet very difficult to evaluate. There are now many who care about accounting for CO2 emissions: from scientists interested in the global carbon cycle to environmentalists concerned about global climate change, regulators overseeing international or subnational a...
متن کاملa study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market
the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
Consumption-based accounting of CO2 emissions.
CO(2) emissions from the burning of fossil fuels are the primary cause of global warming. Much attention has been focused on the CO(2) directly emitted by each country, but relatively little attention has been paid to the amount of emissions associated with the consumption of goods and services in each country. Consumption-based accounting of CO(2) emissions differs from traditional, production...
متن کاملBig-Box Retailers and Urban Carbon Emissions: The Case of Wal-Mart
The commercial real estate sector is responsible for a large share of a city’s overall carbon footprint. An ongoing trend in this sector has been the entry of big-box stores such as Wal-Mart. Using a unique monthly panel data set for every Wal-Mart store in California from 2006 through 2011, we document three main findings about the environmental performance of big-box retailers. First, Wal-Mar...

abstract this study investigates casual relationship between co2 emission and gross domestic product per capita in five different country groups, using cross- country data for the period 1960-2007. to achieve the purpose, the co- integration test and error correction models are applied. results confirm casual relationships between the two variables. a unilateral relationship between gdp and co2...
